"Upon my arrival, I was greeted at the front desk by the receptionist, who is a very knowledgeable, articulate and pleasant person. As she is the first impression given by Wake Research, I felt quite welcomed and comfortable and knew that I was going to receive very professional care there. The study coordinators that I have worked with, Laurel Burgio-Ericson, Eugenio Nalian and Sebrina Wiggins have all been extremely professional, knowledgeable about the study and the study subject and had the personality to put me at ease for the entire study. They were always able to answer any questions I had about the study and about the study subject (i.e. allergies, fibromyalgia, flu shot, etc.). If I had a question they could not answer on the spot, they did the necessary research and found out the answer which made me feel even better about the coordinator, the study and Wake Research. Overall, my study experiences at Wake Research have been positive and I would not hesitate to participate in future studies or to recommend study participation to my friends and family. I'm definitely interested in participating in future studies that may have either an immediate impact for myself and/or could improve medical conditions for others in the future. If my going through an illness and participating in a study can help improve treatment techniques and possible positive outcomes for my future fellow-man, I feel that what I am going through is worthwhile."
